The Veego VMP-AD(T) Programmable Melting/Boiling Point Apparatus is a CFR 21 Part 11 compliant instrument designed for laboratories that require controlled melting point and boiling point determination along with user access, data management and electronic record features. The instrument allows selection between melting point and boiling point test modes and can test three melting point samples or one boiling point sample at a time.
The VMP-AD(T) operates from 15C above room temperature up to 300C, with a temperature resolution of 0.1C and accuracy of 0.3C to 0.5C. A 7-inch TFT color monitor with capacitive touchscreen provides the operating interface, supported by an embedded high-performance single-board computer for data processing.
For laboratories working with controlled user access and electronic records, the instrument includes role-based access control, user management, unique user IDs, password management, automatic system timeout after inactivity and audit trail functionality.
The system tracks prints and re-prints through the audit trail, while backup and restore functions support data management. Data can also be backed up directly to a server or PC through the Ethernet interface.
The VMP-AD(T) also includes 26 GB of storage, built-in validation and provision for unknown or new product evaluation. These functions make it suitable for routine melting and boiling point testing where controlled operation, traceability and laboratory documentation are required.
Typical Applications
The Veego VMP-AD(T) is used for melting point determination, melting range testing and boiling point determination. It is particularly relevant for laboratories that require CFR 21 Part 11 compliance features alongside routine melting and boiling point analysis.
The instrument also provides a dedicated facility for unknown or new product evaluation, allowing laboratories to work with samples where the expected melting characteristics have not already been established.
